1. INTRODUCTION

Bluuc ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application and website (the "Service").

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your use of the Service, and from third parties.

2.1. Data You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and encrypted password (auth.users).
  • Profile Data: We store your name, username, biography, website link, and profile picture (public.profiles).
  • Studio Listings (Hosts): If you list a studio, we collect the studio name, physical address, detailed description, equipment lists, amenities, and photos (public.studios, public.studio_images).
  • Verification Data: To ensure safety, we may request identity verification documents, though these are processed by our verification partners and not stored raw on our DB.
  • Communications: We store the content of messages sent through our in-app chat system (public.chats, public.messages).

2.2. Data Collected Automatically

  • Usage Logs: To prevent abuse and protect our platform (Rule: "Rate Limiting"), we log user actions and IP addresses associated with requests (public.rate_limit_logs).
  • Location Data: We collect precise geolocation data (latitude/longitude) to calculate distances to studios (public.studios).
  • Transaction Data: We log booking details, timestamps, and payment statuses (public.bookings).

2.3. Payment Information

  • Stripe Integration: We do NOT store full credit card numbers. We use Stripe for payment processing.
  • Transaction References: We store Stripe Payment Intent IDs and Stripe Connect Account IDs (public.stripe_connect_accounts, public.bookings) to track the status of payments and payouts.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • Service Delivery: To create your account, process bookings, split payments via "Share Booking", and facilitate chats between Artists and Hosts.
  • Safety & Security:
    • To detect and prevent fraud or spam.
    • To implement "User Blocking" and "Reporting" features (public.user_blocks, public.user_reports).
    • To enforce rate limits based on IP address.
  • Communications: To send you booking confirmations, invite notifications (for "Share Booking"), and important service updates.

4. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

  • Between Users:
    • Hosts see the Artist's profile name and avatar when a booking is requested.
    • Artists see the Host's studio location and profile.
    • Share Booking Participants can see the profile and payment status of other participants in the same booking group.
  • Service Providers: We share data with:
    • Stripe: For payment processing and identity verification.
    • Supabase: For database hosting and authentication services.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

  • Retention: We retain your personal data as long as your account is active.
  • Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time via the app settings. Upon deletion:
    • Your profile information and authentication credentials are removed.
    • Your friendships and chat participation are removed.
    • Note: Some transaction records (bookings) may be anonymized and retained for tax and accounting purposes.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (Right to be Forgotten).
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data.

7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ (e.g., servers in the US or EU).
